    she lives a double life

    a file
    it creaks and knives
    with thoughts to condemn
    by sun and pierce
    the sky with keys

it gives the flame a singe
    and keeps
    us far apart
    like walls that want
    to touch

    a price is put
    on heads or tails
    without an out or a
    giving in

    and we both stay
    confined to lust
    the treasuries of sin

  2. it will go together well

i have two days of pent-up
    head-aches looming behind my eyes
    and every blinking second awake
    makes me wish for death
    to arrive in waves

    each creeping hour seems
to slow down for every word i utter
    and i cannot take it

i need to die in order to
    discuss this gentle matter
and delve in the meticulous observation of
    every dreary day

    apex; worthy foe

    whatever was written of ends
    never achieved a material state
    when stroked by intentions
as dark as breaks in your
    cognitive process

    or so she heard
    you could recall
    hardly a verse

but morning came and came again
and wrote and rolled on flesh and spoke
of scars and came to see the sun adversely

    or so she heard
    that no one had
    eyes enough to see

  4. they are all pretending

    liver heart and tongue
    give in
    to feed the very
    infatuated

    collapse is symptomatic
    as a body
    tells itself

    and stops
    when heat
    is

    slowly reaching
    the thresholds
    of glandular
    affinities

    they want
    but know not

    hungry bodies
    ask for chalk and
    bones
    are
    dull

    never an enough
    to satiate

    a thirst is grasp
    and bind
    with lips and cheeks

    spawning glorified mice

    i’m terrified of sanity;
    what would consist of nights
    without perspectives unorganized?

    we cultivate ancient disorders
    sifting seemingly-gold shards

    examination leads to wonder why,

    but we will never look
    beyond a fool’s intent

    life with a corpse

    waiting for the bus in Japan;
    look at those pops pop.

    two tons of
    acidic visual stimuli,

infirmary asking for it asking hard
    and you stay lonely
    with a cup-holding contest
    blue ribbon, but

    you don’t really have it
    on you.

  7. i believe in god

    what i need is far
    and in between thoughts
    each want is overwhelming

    but i still yearn when i recall;

    kept in wraps and influence
the very scent that threw me
off the bridges i was crossing

    terror is terrific

    afflictions are brought on by
    some chemicals missing the point
    and others losing
    control of their ideals
    and concentrating on
    spanning as much space-time
    as they can dominate
    with brandished paper-swords
    wet in their sheaths

    portraying sobriety through insanity

you left the light on the light-bulb on

all the bees have found the light on
    converged around it with intentions
    violent as their wing-rubbing

you should probably turn that off

    corolla

    heaped in black bags
    strings tied to singular feet

    persecution is never nice
    a thing with feet
    never climbs on purpose
