Starry dandelion fish

We do have our suns
Their warmth
powers the coffee
that drives
our fading systems
Then we fall in line,
pick a spot,
and wait.
As our eyes begin to fail us,
we notice the time we spent
waiting, was only wasted
if our eyes were closed.
Just give us back the sunshine
and we can wander
through the universe again.
